Committee member Jack Nusbaum will put forward his Awards plan. This will provide members with an opportunity to have their say as well as the Committee feel that the more members have an input then the more they will support and promote the idea.
There are many matters to decide such as…..
a) The time scale to enable the media to have the opportunity to promote the project and as time seems all important to ensure a good response and as Media awards are always given several months ahead, the Committee feel it would be a good idea to present the awards at our Christmas Party meeting.
b) Is the Award scheme open to members and non members?
c) Should nominations come from the media as well as individuals.
d) Promoting via a Press release on the CPC web site and a press release sent to all media.
e) Who decides on the winners? All members, only the Committee, an independent Committee or a combination.
