What is the Costa Press Club?
The objectives of this international press club are to:
* provide a regular (monthly) social forum/meeting place for resident and
visiting foreign and Spanish journalists.
* share industry information and contacts.
* act as a voice/lobby for foreign journalists resident in Spain.

Who is eligible?
Any bonafide member of the press, media or communications industry on the Costa del Sol.

How can people apply to join?


Either contact the president Jesper Sander Pedersen , secretary Suzan Davenport or treasurer/membership secretary Peter Leonard, or attend the next meeting of the club (see website for details).


To apply for membership a person must be nominated and seconded by two current members, and supply a résumé of his/her press, media and/or communications career and background.
The application is then considered by the committee, which – according to the statutes - must approve it unanimously.


NOTE: As one of the basic tenets of the club is, “to provide a regular (monthly) social forum/meeting place for resident and visiting foreign and Spanish journalists”, the committee may, at its discretion, decline a member’s renewal if that member has failed to attend a reasonable number of meetings/dinners during the previous 12 months.

How much does it cost?
Thirty euros as a one-off joining fee, plus 30 euros a year (i.e. a total of 60 euros).
